Guitar Hype is a social networking website catered exclusively to guitarists around the world. The main purpose of Guitar Hype is to provide all the guitarists with a platform to communicate, submit and discover new music.
I am not a guitarist. Can I still join?
Absolutely! Even if you know nothing about guitars, you can still join and participate in watching new guitar videos, ranking them and providing your feedback. Beginners are especially encouraged to join Guitar Hype and benefit from this free community.
I have no videos recorded. How can I participate?
Guitar Hype's main focus is to provide free content and bring guitarists all across the world closer. If you have no videos to upload for the time being, do not panic! Instead, build your network in Guitar Hype by connecting to other guitarists. Watch their videos, get ideas from them and soon you will be recording and uploading your own videos in no time.
I am in a band. I want to get recognized. What do I do?
Being in a band and producing your own videos is a big advantage. There are two ways you can get recognized. You can either submit a free video, and if it is good enough, you can get a lot of good rankings, which will push you on our home page. You can also bid for videos for our Featured Listings.
What's in it for you?
Two things! Firstly, I am guitar-crazy so therefore I took the time to build this website. Secondly, I just love the notion of facilitating free content for a niche that I like. Besides, who doesn't like free money?
I want to participate more! How do I do that?
Once the website is up and running for some time, the Guitar Hype team would need moderators and editors for the forum and submitted content. Although these jobs would not be paid for, it is a great thing to contribute to this community in your free time.
What are Featured Videos?
Featured Videos are hosted on our main page and are a result of people paying up to get their videos out to the audience. The prices vary for different slots and are dynamically updated based on demand. Accepted payment methods are through Credit Cards and Paypal.
