I have been asked quite a lot of questions on what Guitar Hype is about. Some people think it features only guitar lessons. Others go totally out of the way in thinking that it will be a place where users can somehow connect in real-time and jam with each other (I never said it was a bad idea). Some users however think that it is a “classified ad” spot for musicians in developed countries.
So to clear these misconceptions, let me explain what the purpose of the website is. The website is here to fulfill a single purpose: Get all the guitarists together and feature their content! It is that simple!
Yes, we do beleive we will be expanding to incorporate new operations but right now we are just striving to become the largest guitar video database on the internet. We also look forward to being THE guitarist social networking website, where musicans can meet each other and share their content.
Yes we are thinking about importing guitar merchandise for our users, but that will only happen when we get enough users to support our cause, which I am sure will be soon!
